Linda M. Godwin

Linda M. Godwin, 65, of Washington, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 in her home. She was born November 13, 1947, in Washington, a daughter of Chuck and Frances Phillips Bedillion. Mrs. Godwin had worked for the family business, Godwin Nursery and Trees. She was a member of the American Legion Post 902 in Houston. Mrs. Godwin enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter. On November 11, 1989, she married George R. “Hoss” Godwin, Jr. who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are: a daughter, Saunseiarae “Angel” Wasnik of West Alexander; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Bizub; two brothers, Richard W. Bedillion and Michael “Dude” Bedillion both of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Beverly Darlene Martino is deceased. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 24, 2013, with Pastor Andrew Holik officiating. Interment will follow in North Ten Mile Cemetery, Amity.
